Boulders Safari Camp, Namibia
Travel writer & Co Founder Bouteco
Holly Tuppen chooses Boulders Safari Camp in Namibia for her One Night Only
"This beautifully-crafted, sustainable camp surrounded by over 400,000 acres of undisturbed Namibian wilderness sounds to me like the perfect antidote for the mania of London and family life. Wolwedans has been on my radar for years as a stand out example of how a tourism business can do good by local communities and wildlife, and offer guests an even better experience for doing so."
Holly Tuppen is a sustainable travel expert and writer. She is currently working with Juliet Kinsman, founding editor of Mr & Mrs Smith to set up Bouteco — a community, platform and consultancy to raise standards within, and aspiration for, the world's finest sustainable hotels.
Situated 45 kilometers south of Wolwedans and hugged by massive granite rocks, Boulders Safari Camp is the most remote and ‘classic’ camp of the Wolwedans Collection. Boulders sleeps a maximum of eight guests in four spacious tents (5 rooms as of 2018). This tiny camp is as off the beaten track, as it can get.
